History of Versapak

Versapak has a reputation for building lasting relationships with customers

In 1973, our Chairman, Ian Denny Anderson started Versapak with a simple, reusable mailing pouch. Since we began, Versapak has incorporated a locking chamber to secure products with a simple seal – which, if tampered with, is evident to the customer. We built a reputation for being a responsive company that produced simple and reliable tamper evident mailbags and other mailroom products – from large sacks to mailroom furniture.

Originally manufacturing in the UK, in 2001, we established a larger, expert factory in Europe. Our factory allows us to control the manufacturing process which means that we can provide prototypes for testing, make changes and deliver large quantities of finished products in much shorter lead times than our competitors. As our reputation spread, our portfolio grew to include insulated medical bags and ballot boxes. We entered into new market areas and started selling our products around the world.

Throughout our expansion, we have remained true to our foundations: high-quality products, strong working relationships with our customers and a team of employees who work together across disciplines to stay ahead of market needs. In 2014, our close-knit team was proud to learn that we had been awarded a Royal Warrant, demonstrating that we have attained the strict standards for providing products to the Royal Household.
